Our history

Ryan Thompson proudly established Good Az Gold Tours and Transfers, with a burning desire to provide professional and affordably priced transport fit for any occasion. After having spent 10 successful years in the tourism and hospitality industry and being a bus driver for the Sydney Olympics, Ryan combined his skills and passion to set up his own bus charter business.

Demand for a broader bus hire and coach charter service in Sydney increased, so Ryan jumped at the opportunity when reputable Shire Coaches put their company up for sale. In July 2008, Good Az Gold Tours and Transfers took over the Shire Coaches Brand kept most of Shire Coaches’ experienced staff, vehicles and outstanding reputation of Serving The Shire and Greater Sydney for over 20 years.
